FORTHCOMING EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS 2012

19th -22nd October
THE POTTERS WHEEL
Through the course students will be helped to develop throwing skills through a series of individually discussed projects. Beginning with techniques for correct clay preparation and the essentials of throwing, centering and basic shapes. We then deal with ways of developing wheel made form including turning, joining and construction techniques. There is a high level of individual tuition throughout the course with the students being encouraged to expand their range of techniques and produce work of high quality.

18th March 2014
The Vessel Form 15th
Contemporary ceramic artists use the vessel form as the basis for an exciting canon of work. This course has a high level of individual tuition and offers students the opportunity to develop their ideas in both two and three dimensions. We will work with the wheel and hand-building techniques to produce inventive forms, which incorporate dynamic surface treatments.
